Rockwall historical foundation asks commissioners for $72,396 to cover museum maintenance

"Please consider the original budget request of $72,396 so we can continue to grow our museum and our community outreach efforts," DeBray said.
DeBray said she visited the museum grounds the day before and removed numerous tree seedlings and observed dry rot on exterior wood, arguing that inflation and higher maintenance needs justify restoring the foundation’s original FY2025 ask. The court did not take immediate action on the request and proceeded into its scheduled budget discussions and agenda items.
