Laura Cole of BiblioTech told the court the program created six navigator positions and embedded them with partner organizations across the county, including senior centers and nonprofit partner locations. Commissioners asked about the fiscal note, confirming the set-aside is approximately $1.1 million covering the 2024–2026 period, and pressed staff to plan for sustainability after ARPA funds expire.
Commissioners praised the program’s outreach to seniors and remote areas and encouraged BiblioTech to continue coordination with county teams and city partners. The court voted to approve the MOU and directed staff to return with additional funding and sustainability information as ARPA funding sunsets.
