The West Linn-Wilsonville School District board recorded the following formal actions at its Feb. 13 meeting.
- Consent agenda: Motion by Vice Chair Wyatt; roll call vote — all present voted Aye. Outcome: approved. - Local service plan (Clackamas CSD 25-26): Motion to approve the ESD local service plan (presented by Clackamas CSD). Vote: unanimous approval. - Budget-committee appointments: Rachel Beavers (position 1) and Ginger Fitch (position 4) were nominated and confirmed by unanimous board votes. - Resolution 2024-02 (inter-fund land-bank loan payment postponement): Motion to postpone scheduled payments to enhance cash flow; vote: unanimous approval. - Resolution 2024-03 (authorize refinancing of Series 2015 bonds): Motion authorizing bond refinance to capture estimated taxpayer savings of up to $3,000,000 over six years; vote: unanimous approval.
"This refinancing is part of our ongoing commitment to responsible financial management, maximizing saving while continue to provide strong financial support to our school district," the business office said while seeking approval. The consent vote and each resolution passed with an affirmative vote from all five board members present.
