Student board member Tommy delivered a short report on extracurricular successes. He said three Farmington athletes competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals—Vanessa Agwamanum (31st in the 400m), Carter Lippold (17th in the 2,000m steeplechase) and Aaron Gigan (10th in the 110m hurdles)—and that Lauren Lansing placed 30th in the 800m at New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
Tommy also reported the Farmington Pep Band performed at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life on July 17, an event that raised funds and recognized local cancer survivors and caregivers. “The event raised funds to finance cancer and celebrated local survivors and caregivers,” Tommy said.
