Commissioners approve DFCS appointment and hire contract for county financial director

The McIntosh County Board of Commissioners voted to appoint Mary Kim Raulerson to the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) board on a motion by Commissioner Christopher Jarriel and a second by Commissioner Henderson Hope; the motion carried unanimously.
Later in new business County Manager Shawn Jordan presented a contract for Pamela Carringer to serve as the county's new financial director. Commissioner Hope moved to approve the contract, Commissioner Jarriel seconded, and the motion also carried unanimously. Both actions were recorded in the minutes as approved without opposition.
