Amy Connor appeared on behalf of the Panhandle Area Public Defender's Office to present interlocal renewals with Armstrong, Carson, Deaf Smith, Moore and Oldham counties for continued participation in the office. Connor told the court the arrangements "are going really good" and that some smaller counties maintain separate contracts until those expire.
A commissioner moved to approve the renewals, another seconded, and the court approved the renewals by voice vote. Commissioners asked whether any counties were being added (none this year) and discussed outreach efforts to encourage additional counties to participate in the future.
