Court authorizes PRPSC and veterans courts to seek $119,000 in state grants

Justin presented two resolutions asking the court to authorize the Panhandle Regional Problem Solving Court and the veterans treatment courts to apply for grant funding from the governor's office for fiscal year 2027. Justin told the court the two requests total $119,000 and the funds will be used for transportation, housing and operational supplies.
"So I've submitted 2 resolutions requesting permission to seek funds for both of the problem solve or the problem solving court in the veterans treatment courts that totals a $119,000," Justin said. Commissioners asked no substantive questions and approved the resolutions by voice vote, recorded as passing 5–0.
