Natrius Peterson, assistant program leader for Community and Economic Development at Prairie View A&M University Extension, presented an overview of the unit’s services and local partners and asked the court to connect with extension agents for follow‑up.
Peterson introduced community champions Donna Dorman (recognized in 2024 as an SBA small business community champion) and Myron Sims and said the CED unit will provide research‑based resources in small‑business development, youth entrepreneurship and workforce development. ‘‘We look forward to making a lasting impact here in Potter County,’’ he said, and offered branded materials for commissioners.
Commissioners accepted the presentation and took a photo with the presenters at their request. Peterson invited commissioners to contact extension agents to coordinate outreach.
