Potter County commissioners voted to approve a budget amendment covering an IT purchase recorded in September that had not been included in the original budget. County staff member Boston explained the purchase was related to IT and that the amendment would formalize funding for the items in the 2025–26 fiscal year.
"This has to do with the IT budget. They had a purchase in September that they did not get in, and so this is a budget amendment to cover, that for the 26th budget," staff member Boston said. Commissioners asked no follow-up questions and the motion to approve passed 5–0. The action will be recorded in the county's fiscal-year budget documents and accounted for in the next quarterly financial report.
