City to auction surplus equipment after staff discloses auctioneer relationship

"Josh is the spouse of parks and rec director, Christy Kranz," staff member Nate said during the disclosure. Staff said options are available and offered to reach out to other auction houses if the council preferred; staff will draft a resolution for the next agenda to authorize the auction. Staff also said laptops, iPads and lost‑and‑found phones will be recycled securely rather than auctioned.
