The Coosa County Commission unanimously approved its consent agenda on Dec. 9, recording several personnel items.
The consent agenda authorized the Chair and County Administrator to sign checks for monthly expenses and payroll, and approved changes in employees’ job descriptions, salaries, hours and status where budgeted raises applied. The minutes record a new hire: Kimberly Ann Sardinas began employment Dec. 1, 2025 as a Correctional Officer/Dispatcher at a rate of $16.48 per hour.
An email added to the consent agenda requested approval of pay-rate adjustments for existing employees: Jerry Self to Grade 12, step 14 at $29.14/hour effective Dec. 8, 2025; and Daniel Weathers to Grade 5, step 3 at $15.46/hour effective Dec. 9, 2025 (six-month evaluation).
