Vernon County Commission approves Higginbotham to broker county liability and property insurance

Casey Chastain and Randy Brashers of Higginbotham presented liability and property insurance information to the commission prior to the vote.
Northern Commissioner Cindy Thompson moved to approve brokering county liability and property insurance through Higginbotham, Southern Commissioner Everett L. Wolfe seconded, and the record states "all voted yes to approve." The record says Higginbotham will secure competitive bids from available carriers and return to the Commission with proposals prior to the January 1, 2025 renewal.
