Council adopts ordinances on temporary solid-waste rules and flood control standards

At its Aug. 26 meeting the Eagle City Council adopted two ordinances after waiving additional readings under Idaho Code 50-2902.
Ordinance 945 modifies Title 4 (public health and safety) to add a temporary project-specific solid-waste service provision; council moved to dispense with the three-reading requirement and adopted the ordinance following a roll-call vote.
Council next moved to waive readings and adopt Ordinance 949, amending Title 10 (flood control) section 8-6 to update specific standards and include a severability clause; that ordinance was also adopted after a roll-call vote. Both ordinances were adopted during the meeting and recorded as passed by council.
