The Victoria Independent School District Board voted to approve a memorandum of understanding with Nursery Independent School District to enroll ninth through twelfth grade students at Victoria West High School for the 2026–27 school year.
"Mr. President, I move that the Board of Trustees approve the 26, 20 27 MOU between Victoria Independent School District and Nursery Independent School District as recommended by the superintendent," a trustee said when making the motion; the motion was seconded and the board approved it by voice vote, with the clerk recording "6‑0, no dissent." The MOU was unchanged from the version the board approved the prior year, staff said, and the item had been brought forward on the superintendent’s recommendation.
The board took the vote during the business portion of the meeting; trustees did not request amendments and staff said the MOU will allow Nursery ISD high‑school students to attend Victoria West for the coming school year.
