The Putnam County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 18 approved an addendum to the county's contract with Nexus to conduct an expanded parcel reassessment beginning January 2025.
Assessor Don Badolato told the board the addendum covers residential, agricultural, utility and exempt parcels and would be the contract's final year. "Nexus would do what Kevin and PJ currently do," Badolato said; he added he would meet the County Council the next day to request permission for related salary changes.
Commissioner David Berry moved to approve the addendum and Commissioner Tom Helmer seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The addendum was presented as a contract amendment; the meeting record does not include dollar amounts or specific timetable beyond the January 2025 start noted by the Assessor.
