Property owner Bryan Ravenscroft joined the Jan. 5 meeting to complain about late fees and being charged two landfill fees. Assessor Baldwin presented Resolution 09-04-06 explaining the landfill fees, and Treasurer Wines explained that the county collects assessments for North Snake Ground Water and American Falls. Commissioner Vern Eames moved to uphold the current fees and assessment process; Commissioner Ron Buhler seconded and the motion carried.
Separately during the public comment period, David E. White addressed the board about Eugene Brown and American Legion Post 30. The minutes state the Board informed Mr. White that the county does not have authority over those matters. No further action was recorded in the minutes on either public comment item.
