Commissioner Vern Eames moved to approve the 2026 precincts as submitted; Commissioner Ronald Buhler seconded and the motion carried. The board then recorded official absentee and early-voting sites that include the Gooding County Courthouse (624 Main St., Gooding), the County Fairgrounds Extension Office (203 Lucy Lane, Gooding), the Gooding Senior Center (308 Senior Ave., Gooding), the American Legion Hall in Wendell (610 W. Main St.), the Wendell Senior Center (380 1st Ave. E., Wendell), the Bliss Fire Department (120 E. U.S. Hwy 30, Bliss), and the American Legion Hall in Hagerman (281 State St. N., Hagerman).
Because precinct boundaries and designated polling or early-voting locations affect where residents cast ballots, the board’s approvals set the county’s official sites for absentee and early-voting operations for 2026. The board did not record a roll-call vote tally in the minutes; the action is recorded as approved.
