The IHPC approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for a carriage-house conversion at 1933 North Talbot Street in Morton Place after staff reported that applicants had incorporated requested design changes. Nicole Quint told the commission the design team removed decorative siding visible only from the rear, enlarged a dormer, and moved the new addition one foot closer to the alley to provide a more gradual transition to the existing building.
Staff recommended approval "per the 9 stipulations and 1 note in the staff's written report," and commissioners voted to approve the COA. The chair wished the applicants luck and noted the commission appreciated responsive revisions that addressed staff and commission comments.
