Jackson County board moves February, June meetings to new dates

The Jackson County Board voted 4–0 on Jan. 9 to change its February meeting to Feb. 20 at 9:00 a.m. and its June meeting to June 22 at 3:00 p.m., following a presentation by Director Jennifer Logan.
Logan told the board the changes were needed and presented the rationale to members; the transcript records her presenting the request prior to the vote. Board Chair Kevin Charles moved for the schedule adjustments, and Judy McNichols seconded. The vote was recorded as 4–0 in favor.
The board formalized the new dates in a recorded motion and the clerk noted the next meeting will occur Feb. 20 at 9:00 a.m. There was no public comment on the scheduling change during the meeting.
