County staff described three T‑hangar lease agreements for the county airport — with Alan Schultz, Russell Kinneberg and Howard Deters — and said lease forms and pro‑rated payments had been submitted pending hanger completion. "They have submitted payment in the amount of 11 months, so it's $16.50 dollars payment has been submitted to the county," the county official reported (transcribed language retained as spoken). The staff member said final occupancy would depend on completion of the hanger construction, but that if the agreements are executed the airport would increase its based aircraft.
Commissioners moved to approve the three lease agreements; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Staff said the hangar program is likely to have 7 of 8 spaces filled in the next few months and that additional prospective tenants had expressed interest; commissioners said the leases advance the county's goal of growing activity at the airport.
