Board members discussed resolution 2026C10015, in which staff recommended authorizing the director to execute an agreement with Vertisoft LLC to scope a proof of concept for a new case-management system integrating OpenGov capabilities. Eva said the work would include scoping, documentation gathering and identifying data sources to test whether the product could meet departmental needs and improve interdepartmental workflows.
"Over the last couple of years, we've been researching various case management systems and solutions to improve our services," Eva said. She noted OpenGov is already used by other city departments and described the engagement as exploratory; after the proof of concept the board could decide whether to move to a full deployment. The board moved and approved the resolution by voice vote.
