Commissioners appoint Kenny Browning to Hamilton Township Fire Board, remove burn ban; auditor announces regional GIS meeting

Commissioner Bob Gillaspy moved to approve the appointment; Commissioner Drew Markel seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
Commissioner Matt Reedy moved to remove the county burn ban after Emergency Management Director Nick Kilinger had recommended lifting it; the board approved the removal by unanimous vote. Auditor Hans Eilbracht reported the board had received the September 2024 Fund Balance Report and the October meeting room schedule and said the county will host an Indiana Geographical Information Office regional meeting on Oct. 4, 2024; vendor Woolpert will be present to discuss imagery and lidar data.
