Extension director previews 4‑H events; dredge scheduled for Falmouth in February

4‑H/Extension Director Molly Lipper reported on the 4‑H award show and previewed the Southeastern Massachusetts Agricultural Partnership (SEMAP) trade show taking place the weekend after the meeting. Lipper told the board that "AG Day at the State House will be held March 11, 2026."
County Administrator Frank Basler briefed commissioners on facilities and operations: storm cleanup at county courthouses and administrative buildings is complete, light and ceiling projects at the Wareham District Courthouse are underway, and the Hingham District Courthouse HVAC replacement received praise from Judge Bradley. Basler also noted the county dredge is scheduled for use by the Town of Falmouth beginning Monday, Feb. 2, 2026.
