County approves multiple personnel actions, tables some items

Plymouth County Commissioners approved multiple CPS personnel forms and votes on veterans and staffing items during the Jan. 27 meeting. Commissioner Valanzola moved to approve anniversary step increases, emergency temporary hires, and other personnel items for Robert Spear, Avelino Teixeira, Ligia Fernandes, Jada Figueroa, Vanda DaCruz and John Lally; Chair Hanley seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board re-appointed Attorney Shannon Resnick as Plymouth County Counsel by unanimous vote.
The minutes record that the CPS form for Matthew Hanley's retirement (last day Feb. 17, 2026) was tabled to the next meeting; the recorded vote on that item was Valanzola-Yes and Chair Hanley-Abstain. Several other appointments (MMHG Advisory Committee and Cooperative Extension Trustee/Liaison) were tabled.
