Emergency Management Agency receives two Dodge Durangos from sheriff’s fleet

Herb Hunt, Director of the Emergency Management Agency (EMA), reported that the Sheriff's Department plans to transfer two Dodge Durangos to EMA to increase reliability in the EMA fleet. Hunt said that, "with the addition of these 2 vehicles he will have 10 emergency use vehicles in his fleet." Dave Vitek will assist with switching the insurance policy to EMA.
Commissioner Mark Horner moved to approve the transfer and Commissioner Brenda Weaver seconded; the motion passed 3-0. The board's approval allows EMA to take custody of the vehicles and complete required insurance and fleet-record changes.
