Plymouth County Commissioners Jared L. Valanzola and Gregory M. Hanley, joined by Treasurer Thomas O’Brien, presented an American Rescue Plan Act check for $850,000.00 to City of Brockton Chief Financial Officer Troy Clarkson to support renovations at Brockton City Hall. According to the minutes, Clarkson "expressed his appreciation to the County Commissioners and County Treasurer."
County officials cast the presentation as part of ongoing ARPA-funded support for municipal infrastructure. The ARPA item was one of several grant and disbursement votes on the Jan. 27 agenda; the board approved a second administrative ARPA payment that same night.
