Salary Board creates Children & Youth intern and adds Planning summer intern positions

The Tioga County Salary Board approved a temporary Children & Youth intern position (480 hours at $15/hr.) and added a Planning summer intern position at $15/hr. (capped at $2,400) through August 2026.
The Tioga County Salary Board met immediately after the commissioners' meeting and approved creating a temporary intern position in Children & Youth at $15.00/hr. (no benefits) for up to 480 hours. The board also added a summer intern position in the Planning office at $15.00/hr., capped at $2,400, no benefits, 20 hours per week through the end of August 2026.
Both motions were approved unanimously (four ayes) with Kera Hackett making the motion to create the Children & Youth intern; the additions were recorded in the Salary Board minutes and are effective as written.
