At the June 9 meeting the commissioners added a School Resource Officer request from the Southern Tioga School District to the agenda and then voted to table it for additional discussions with the sheriff and the school district.
The minutes show the item was added by motion from Commissioner Marc Rice and, after brief consideration, Commissioner Shane Nickerson moved (seconded by Sam VanLoon) to table the request pending further discussion with the sheriff and school representatives. The motion to table carried unanimously.
