Commissioners Approve UPS Maintenance, MFA, SAVIN Agreement and DHS Vehicle Purchase

At the Jan. 13 meeting, Tioga County Commissioners approved several contracts and technology purchases. The board approved a one‑year Eaton maintenance proposal for UPS equipment at the Tioga County Prison for $8,900 per year (Act 13 funding) and a separate Eaton proposal for UPS maintenance at the Courthouse for $8,500 per year. The board also approved a one‑year Aspire proposal for Duo Essential multi-factor authentication for county employees at $5,355; the minutes note PCoRP funds will reimburse Act 13 costs for Duo.
Separately, commissioners approved an annual SAVIN Maintenance and Service Agreement between the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Institute and Tioga County for victim-notification services. The board also approved purchase of a 2026 Dodge Durango through Enterprise Fleet Management for the Department of Human Services on a five-year term at $571.96 per month. All motions were recorded as unanimous.
