Tioga County commissioners approve multiple hires, a termination and two contractor agreements

Approved hires included Mackenzie Roio as a part-time on-call Corrections Officer at $18.00/hr.; Bret Mathers as part-time Training Coordinator (Emergency Services) at $19.57/hr.; Brock Scharborough as ACE Supervisor at $62,025.60/year with benefits; Randy Brewer as Independent Living Supervisor at $57,782.40/year with benefits; Anna Brown as Independent Living Caseworker Assistant at $16.50/hr.; Douglas Killgore as Maintenance Worker 1 at $17.50/hr.; Kelly Harkness as Caseworker 1, Family Services at $18.80/hr.; Shaye Stine as YDS Supervisor at $45,000/year; and Adriana Zebrowski as ACE summer staff at $16.00/hr.
The board also approved the termination of Zoe White, 911 Dispatcher, effective April 28, 2026; and unanimously approved an Independent Contractor Agreement with Fred Gorg for Maintenance at $20.00/hr. The minutes record an Independent Contractor Agreement with William R. Stokes III, Esq. for limited legal services on Commonwealth v. York 347 CR 2023; the compensation is listed in the minutes as "$175,00/hr." (as recorded).
