The Tioga County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance 2026-1, the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance of Tioga County, during its Jan. 13, 2026 meeting. The motion to adopt was made by Commissioner Sam VanLoon and seconded by Commissioner Marc Rice; the vote was unanimous.
County officials said a full copy of the ordinance is available in the Planning office. The adoption updates the county’s rules governing subdivisions and land development; the minutes note only the adoption motion and availability of the ordinance text rather than a line-by-line summary or amendments.
