Planning Commission forwards master-plan amendment to remove industrial sliver to county commissioners

Staff presented Application 24-1500-002 requesting that a small portion of a parcel currently shown in the master plan as light industrial be amended to ARC RD1 to match the rest of the parcel. Staff said the light-industrial designation on the sliver is not appropriate for its current context and recommended that the commission forward the amendment to the Board of County Commissioners for final action.
Jesse Barr, president of the Spring Creek Association, told the commission the association remains concerned about road access and maintenance and encouraged the county and applicant to coordinate on road agreements or fees. After discussion the commission voted to forward the master-plan amendment to the county commissioners.
