Court approves several plats and replats including 45‑lot Thomas Ranch Northwest Phase 3

The Burnet County Commissioners Court approved multiple land‑use items on July 14. Development Services Director Herb Darling presented plats and replats and staff representatives from consulting firms attended for several items.
The court approved a replat of lots 5 and 6 in Mill Creek Ranch Section 1 into lots 5R and 6R (motion by Commissioner Jim Luther Jr., seconded by Commissioner Damon Beierle). The preliminary plat for Solomon Subdivision — a private subdivision of two lots on 2.986 acres at the end of County Road 134 — received preliminary approval following a presentation that included Jordan May of Cuplin & Associates. The court also approved a replat in Windermere Oaks combining lots 331A and 333 into lot 331B.
For larger residential development, the court approved the final plat for Thomas Ranch Northwest Phase 3, described in the packet as 45 lots on 17.06 acres in the 12000 block of County Road 404. All motions on these land‑use items were approved unanimously (5–0).
