County Approves Univ era Dental Contract; premiums to rise about 3.74%

The Finance Committee authorized the chairman to execute a contract with Univera Healthcare for provision of dental insurance, effective March 1, 2026, through Feb. 28, 2027, procured under GML §104(b). The packet included sample premium rates for two plan options. For the Dental Select High Option the packet lists Single $39.82, Employee/Spouse $72.10, Employee/Child(ren) $82.80, and Family $114.32; the Low Option lists Single $25.86 and Family $83.34.
Supervisor Roberts moved the resolution and the motion carried unanimously (Ayes:8). The minutes record that the dental package represents a 3.74% increase over the prior plan year; a resolution was prepared for formal adoption.
