Court authorizes bids for generators; approves Alsco linens and dance floor addition
Summary
Martin County commissioners voted to solicit bids for new generators serving the senior center, road and bridge, community complex and sheriff’s radio tower, approved an Alsco linens contract at $2,361 biweekly, and approved a $9,412.66 dance floor addition for the MCCC.
The court approved taking bids for new generators to serve four locations: the Martin County Senior Center; the Road & Bridge Department; the Martin County Community Complex; and the sheriff’s department radio tower. Commissioner Brian Snellgrove moved the action, Commissioner Kenny Stewart seconded, and the court voted 3-0 to solicit bids.
Separately, the court approved a contract with Alsco for tablecloths and floor mats at $2,361 biweekly and approved a dance floor addition for the MCCC community center for $9,412.66. The proposed concession contract with Quest Hospitality was discussed under the new complex agenda but no action was taken on that item. Records and contracts were noted as on file with the clerk where applicable.
