The Armstrong County Commissioners on Oct. 15 accepted $17,459.67 from insurance and authorized selling a 2020 Dodge Ram through an internet auto auction. Commissioner Neely moved for acceptance of the insurance proceeds and sale authorization; Commissioner Cornell seconded and the motion carried with four ayes.
Separately, the court approved repairs to a landfill loader at a cost of $10,157.20 to be paid from ARPA funds. Commissioner Smith moved to authorize the repair; Commissioner Cornell seconded and the motion carried with four ayes. The minutes list the dollar amounts and the approved disposition (sale) for the county vehicle but do not identify the auction vendor or repair contractor.
