Howard County commissioners approve routine monthly reports and auditor's invoice list

The Howard County Commissioners Court approved its consent agenda and accepted monthly reports from the justice of the peace (civil and criminal), the Ag Extension Office, the county clerk, and the treasurer. County Judge Randy Johnson announced the items and called for a motion.
A motion to accept the monthly reports was made by a commissioner and seconded; the court voted in favor. The judge then presented a list of invoices, including construction retainage items related to the law enforcement center and library, and commissioners voted to approve the invoices as presented.
Judge Johnson said the construction manager and architect have been paid down toward their guaranteed maximum price and that some retainage remains. The court treated the construction budget update as informational while approving the invoices and routine reports.
