The court approved several procurement items July 7 for the Sheriff’s Office and other county operations. Chief Deputy Alan Trevino spoke in support of a cattle trailer; the LJD bid for $16,180 was approved (motion by Joe Don Dockery; second by Chad Collier). The court also approved a turnkey 230 kW diesel generator system for the Sheriff’s Office and awarded the purchase to GenServe LLC in the amount of $105,790 (motion by Joe Don Dockery; second by Chad Collier). Vote: 5–0.
Separately, the court approved a KeyTrak system purchase, support and software license agreement for the county jail in an amount not to exceed $3,443.70 to be paid from commissary funds, and authorized the purchase of two laptops for the Tax Assessor/Collector and two laptops with docking stations for the Magistrates Office.
