On Feb. 10 the Tioga County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance 2026-3, described in the minutes as an amended ordinance establishing regulations, specifications and restrictions for the use and/or installation of data centers in the county. The motion was approved unanimously by the three commissioners.
The minutes note the ordinance text is available as a complete, signed copy at the Tioga County Planning Office and the Commissioners’ Office. The adoption records no separate vote tally beyond a unanimous three-aye vote and does not include implementation details or operational standards in the minutes; staff were directed to make the signed ordinance available for public inspection.
