County Counselor Todd Luckman updated the Board on several administrative items at the Jan. 12 meeting. He said A1 Alarms offered a reduction in billing for canceled services but the board’s consensus was to decline the offer. He also reported that NEKES notified the county that a hunting cabin near Delia was not in compliance with sanitary wastewater codes.
Luckman additionally recounted receiving a letter from resident Dick Lake requesting county approval to allow a solar installation intended to reduce homeowner tax burden. The minutes record these items for follow‑up by the counselor’s office and appropriate departments.
