During routine business on July 28, the Jewell County Commissioners approved several formal motions. Brent Beck moved and Ed Duskie seconded approval of abatements #2621, #2622, #2623, #2624 and #2625; the motion "passed unanimously." Beck also moved to reappoint Jan Carlson as the Jewell County appointee to the Central Kansas Library District; Duskie seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioners also recorded reappointments of Kendall Nelson and Steve Green to the Hospital Board, as noted by Brent Beck earlier in the meeting. The board approved the July 21 commissioner minutes by motion from Ed Duskie and second from Brent Beck.
The meeting record shows these items were approved without recorded opposition; no roll-call vote with individual tallies was provided in the transcript beyond "motion passed unanimously."
