Community Development Director Diane Cucar told the board she has been working with SCKEDD and the 4‑County program on a building project and that Elk County does not qualify for the low‑income survey requirement without conducting a local survey. She said she is coordinating with Janet Miller of Network Kansas on GAP loan opportunities and plans to attend related workshops on May 22 and June 10 and 12.
Cucar asked to use the $5,000 ROZ Grant to create a new county website and reported she is working on certification for the 1285 Evergreen site. The minutes record these as informational and planning items; no formal funding beyond the ROZ Grant request was approved during the meeting.
