Jewell County ambulance director reports heavy summer and plans for billing training

Vincent Urbaniak, Ambulance Director for Jewell County, told commissioners on July 28 that the ambulance service "have had a busy summer and have had standbys at the Threshing Bee and rodeo." He said he plans to attend a state billing workshop in Manhattan next month to improve billing practices.
Urbaniak's report was presented as part of the office-head updates and did not include a request for new county funding during the meeting. Commissioners accepted the update and moved to other agenda items.
