The Jewell County Commissioners met June 16, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. and approved the June 9, 2025 minutes after a motion by Commissioner Brent Beck and a second by Commissioner Ervin Underwood. The board also signed payroll vouchers during the session.
Chairman Ed Duskie signed an interlocal service contract between area county commissions and county health departments aimed at coordinated environmental planning and implementation of environmental programs. Commissioners recorded the signing during the meeting. Later in the session, Tanya Paul of DVACK presented a proclamation designating June 2025 as Elder Abuse Awareness Month; Underwood moved to proclaim the month and Beck seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 10:35 a.m.
