Kris Marple, Wilson County Coordinator, presented the FY2024 County Audit and recommended renewing the county’s health insurance with Aetna for 2026 at an indicated 7% premium increase while keeping benefits the same, renewing the Delta Dental plan, and funding each eligible employee $800 in their Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Commissioners accepted the FY2024 audit and approved the insurance renewals and the $800-per-eligible-employee FSA funding.
The motion to accept the audit was made by Commissioner Jerry Scott and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Miller; the motion carried. A separate motion to approve the county health insurance with Aetna, the Delta Dental renewal, and the FSA funding was made by Commissioner Miller and seconded by Commissioner Scott; the minutes record the motion carried.
