The Court approved a quitclaim deed to document a road closure in the Estes Addition and authorized a golf course greens project and a ball-field renovation to begin in 2024. The quitclaim deed motion was moved by Commissioner Dexter Nichols and seconded by Commissioner Eddie Nelms and carried unanimously.
In the meeting's routine business, the Court also unanimously approved payment of county bills, accepted officers' reports, acknowledged a jail re-inspection, approved deputation and oath for the sheriff's office, and approved out-of-state travel for justice court training. These routine actions were recorded in the minutes as unanimously adopted motions.
