During its Jan. 8 meeting the executive committee reviewed and amended the Service Coordination Mechanism document. Members noted a substantial rewrite of Page 13, Section K (second paragraph through the end of that section) to tighten language, along with several minor clarifications suggested during the meeting.
Committee member Jason Fagan moved that the committee recommend the edited document to the Full Council "with Changes/Edits, Dependent on State TA Approval." Scott Moore seconded the motion; the record states "All Ayes, Motion Carries." The committees recommendation is now slated for consideration by the Full Council, subject to any state technical assistance guidance that arrives before that meeting.
Greg Parker summarized the nature of the edits and explained the rewrite was intended to provide clearer, more concise guidance in the cited section. No amendments to the recommended changes were recorded at the executive meeting; the committee limited its action to forwarding the document for Full Council review.
