The Board of Fayette County Commissioners appointed Faye Williamson as the county's designee to the Community Action Commission Board of Trustees for 2026. The motion was moved by Commissioner Donald L. Fleak, seconded by Commissioner James D. Garland, and carried on roll call (Garland, aye; Anderson, absent; Fleak, aye).
The board also appointed James D. Garland and Tony Anderson as members of the Fayette County Land Bank Executive Board for 2026. Those appointments were recorded on the Jan. 20 meeting minutes and carried by the same vote pattern.
