Auditor reports: fund balance, TIF worksheets submitted and State Board of Accounts exit meeting set for Sept. 18; Toshiba assessment approved

Auditor Hans C. Eilbracht provided routine administrative reports including the September 2024 meeting-room schedule and the August 2024 Fund Balance Report. He said TIF worksheets have been submitted to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) for neutralization and that the State Board of Accounts will hold an exit meeting for the county’s 2023 audit on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 9:00 AM in the same meeting room.
Representatives from Toshiba requested permission to assess county copier usage and contracts and make recommendations for improvement. Commissioner Drew Markel gave Hans permission to work with Toshiba on the assessment.
