Trego County commissioners approve agenda, minutes and routine reports

The Trego County Board of Commissioners convened June 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. with Chairman Jerry White and Commissioners Kurtis Brock and Jarred Hager present. Commissioner Brock moved and Commissioner Hager seconded to approve the meeting agenda; the motion carried.
The board reviewed the Register of Deed’s May fee report and Chairman White signed the County Clerk’s May fee report. The Commissioners also acknowledged thank-you notes from the City of WaKeeney for county assistance with a residential demolition program and from Adell Fabrizius for a county scholarship. Later in the meeting Commissioner White moved and Commissioner Hager seconded to approve the minutes of May 29, 2026; the motion carried.
